I cannot make DrSampler react only on note-on. It always applies the envelope.
How can I make DrSample play the whole sample independently of the note length?

I'm not sure if I understand your question correctly, but the global envelope is always applied. So you need to set the attack to to 0ms and the release to a value that's longer than your longest drum sample.

I noticed that I can use an "endless" release, but that's odd for a one-shot drum sampler not to be able to ignore not length.
Guess I will have to look for a real drum sampler.

I just remembered that you can also load the drum sampler module in the FX section where it ignores the envelope. Maybe that's what you're looking for.masitito wrote: Fri May 07, 2021 2:21 pm I noticed that I can use an "endless" release, but that's odd for a one-shot drum sampler not to be able to ignore not length.

Exactly. If you are for some reason making a drum instrument in MSF instead of MDrummer, you need to disable the global envelope and set the engine to detect the ending of each sound based on volume. (all in advanced settings) Or just make the release of the global envelope long enough.Held wrote: Fri May 07, 2021 2:32 pmI just remembered that you can also load the drum sampler module in the FX section where it ignores the envelope.
