Hi I'm using a Yamaha mg16xu desk to record via USB and I'm only able to use 2 inputs.
I'm using the Yamaha Adios setting, but only 2 inputs show up.
And when recording both inputs are recording all tracks...
Anyone who could give me some advice please?
I've used the standard asio, the Yamaha one, bit no difference.
I've reinstalled the driver as well at no success.

Cheers

Are you sure this is a flaw? It's common for USB mixers to only send the master output via USB.
Surely there must be consensus by now...

From a quick look at the specs... 24-bit/192kHz 2in/2out USB Audio functions. You can POSSIBLY direct a 2-channel mix to USB which can be any 2 specific channels; but it's also possible/more probable you can only send the full "main mix" to USB. The manual may also indicate the output of multiple tracks going to one of the group buses, IF the USB-out can be switched from MAIN to GroupA to GroupB (from a glance at the user manual, you can't).

I had the same issue with a Mackie ProFX12 to do multi-track, but it was heavily restricted working in this manner. It didn't really have the "group bus" features though.
