I'm going to download and test in the meantime.
It's difficult to compare. I guess trying the demo is indeed the best idea!

No it does not include a bridge. If you are on Mac, the operating system does not support 32-bit binaries anymore since Catalina anyway.

Sure there is! Either on the right of the product page, or you can find it in the "Download" section of the site.

Has anyone tested this with NI Reaktor. Just wondering if the multi core engine offers ant benefits there as Reaktor can eat a whole core and cause performance issues .... at least in my experience.

I just want to verify, but the preview for M1 is only available for registered customers of PatchWork?

Yes, there is indeed no demo version available right now.

BlueCat Patchworks has been a really solid product for me since around when it first came out, but recently I've started having some plugins crash upon loading immediately. Sonarworks new SoundID VST plugin is one. Immediate crash. The others are the UJAM Finisher plugins (except the free one, micro), Retro, NEO, Flux and Voodoo. I am trying out a demo and Reaper disappears immediately when loading this with Patchwork. On Win 10, patchwork version 2.5

We'll follow up by email to find out the issue!

Love that this add undo for every param in any VST. BitWig, for example, doesn't capture that. But could you also capture the Ctrl+Z for undo-ing? That would be immensely helpful

This actually works in the standalone application. In a plug-in however you cannot do that, or it would screw up the host's keyboard shortcuts.

The UJAM Finisher plugins you mentioned, will also crash the latest Axiom, Late Replies and MB-7 Mixer. This became a problem once these versions got updated to the new multicore processing engine.

As a workaround I've loaded the UJAM vst's into the older PatchWork version 2.43 and saved it as a PatchWork preset. These presets will load into the newer versions of PatchWork without problems; you can even move the UJAM vst to a different plug-in slot.

That's a very strange behavior. I don't think it has anything to do with multicore though (when not enabled in a preset, it behaves just like without multicore).
