Waveform 11.5.16 is available as beta

A few more bug fixes. If anybody uses jbridge, could you let me know if bridged effects are crashing. I'm pretty sure I fixed it, but I still have one tester reporting crashes.

It was removed because it didn't work.

I think it works now. The idea is if a track contains a synth or outputs to a midi output, I consider it a midi track and assign the midi input, otherwise I do audio input.

The hard part is figuring out if a rack wants midi or audio input, the midi pin is always connected by default. No I look if the rack contains a synth, then I use midi input, otherwise audio. Hopefully that works for most people.

Thank you for this update! I finally can pick the LF Display scale that will not cause window shrinking and "jumping". But unfortunately, dialog windows are not scaling. Such as "Closing Edit", "New Project"... and all Waveform plugin windows.

unfortunately with this update the Waveform arpeggiator does not work properly. When the midi clip on the track ends, I keep hearing the sound repeating itself over and over again. With version 11.5.9 this does not happen... Thank you.

Thanks! Installed it but can't figure out how to change midi cc types.
I open the CC2 pane, select all entries. Then change CC2 to aftertouch in the menu. This causes the events to disappear in the CC2 pane but they don't show up in the aftertouch pane. However, aftertouch goes green in the controller menu, indicating that there are aftertouch events. Opening the aftertouch pane, there is nothing to see, however.
Update: It does work if I change them to CC1 (modulation wheel) but not to Aftertouch. Unfortunately, I need them to be aftertouch events.

Key/polyphonic aftertouch is like a keyON, keyOFF event message but will be continuous. CC02 is breath control, which works LIKE a mod wheel or any other continuous controller.

Unfortunately, it tends not to be well described in most MIDI implementation notes. Waveform does implement PRESSURE and AFTERTOUCH, but PRESSURE may do what you want?

Yes, pressure (channel aftertouch) is what I want.

Update: I see now that channel pressure is another item in the controller menu. And yes, it works to copy controller data from CC2 to pressure. And this controls my synth OK. Problem solved!

I keep having the same UI issues on Windows. Their detachable windows are not automatically resizable. I have to manually drag the corners to fit my screen. The detachable windows also disappear when a VSTi has focus, including the mixer, gone until I close the VSTi GUI. Turning off VST sandboxing causes the VSTi to stay behind all detachable windows, even if selected. Also there's no way to independently hide tracks. Which means I can't hide tracks from the arranger. So if I expand a folder track in the mixer for multiple outputs, it also expands in the arranger, creating useless space I have to scroll through in the arranger. I've been contacting them about this since Tracktion 7, they just shrug it off as if that's a ME problem. As if windows disappearing is not a serious issue.

I'm experiencing the same and it has been driving me nuts, i hope they fix it asap.

This is still not fixed? I installed the update and it behaves the same.

This is the 1st time I've experienced problems with Jbridge. Beta 11.5.16,
MrDonald, showing as not installed.
Was loading and working as it should in previous Beta 11.5.9.
If I turned off sandboxing Waveform crashed to desktop. With warning
MrDonald( Leslie cab) crashed waveform. When I restarted all the Vst's had yellow ! Symbols.

I have re installed 11.5.9 beta, and my edit opens as it should with MrDonald working.
