We use Broomstick Bass Rickenbacker 4001 (32 bit, requires JBridge to run 64) with GuitarRig 5/6 effects. An alternative is ModoBass with 'let ring'. You can hear on God is Everywhere (Faith and Doubt Project) and If Heaven is a Dream (The Cure is Us), both on spotify and:
