MB-7 Mixer v3.4 - VST2: Non disableable automation parameters not appearing in Ableton Live

Any of the parameters that aren't "automation disableable" (the important ones: band faders, master fader etc) aren't appearing in Ableton Live 11 via the plugin automation window.
They seem to be the ones that aren't in the preset/global settings window in MB-7. If I turn on the automation all checkbox, they all immediately appear once I press the "configure" plugin button in Ableton, apart from the ones not in the global settings window, the ones in question.
This affects all VST2 versions (Stereo, Mono, Dual). Just checked the VST3 versions and it's not an issue...

I am not sure I understand exactly what you mean: do you enable them in Ableton or the plug-in? The parameters you mention should be in the preset/global settings window, so I am probably misunderstanding something here.Amnesia Jones wrote: Fri May 21, 2021 3:36 am They seem to be the ones that aren't in the preset/global settings window in MB-7. The gain's, spread's, pan's, band solo/mute/bypass, etc. These parameters do not appear in the Global Settings - Control Output section. You can't disable or re-enable them when you click the green triangle under each parameter when the "show controls setting" in MB-7 is enabled. Sorry I assumed you'd know this!
In making the bug video linked below I actually found a workaround:
Enable "configure mode" for MB-7 in Live 11 BEFORE resetting the preset in MB-7 back to default. They all appear and are useable.
Useful information for other Ableton Live users.

Strangely enough, the Freq, Slope and Master Bypass parameters aren't affected by this, even though they also don't appear in the Global Settings - Control Output section. So I'm not sure why the bug exists. It must be another issue?

I see the parameters in question are in the "control input" list but not the "control output" list, so maybe I'm getting confused in that respect. But in any case, the bug is still is apparent and the workaround above helps.

Sorry I just realised I set the video to private. I just changed it to unlisted. It should be viewable now.

Ok, this is indeed a known issue for parameters that can be linked between instances (output parameters have nothing to do with controls, these are parameters that are measured by the plug-in such a band levels for example).
Live has a limitation regarding automation that prevents plug-ins from notifying changes from another thread than the GUI thread, and the MB-7 Mixer has to use another thread for instances linking, so that's why it is impacted. You can however manually write automation (automation read works).
