In MXXX1 when I Install the latest version of plugins, old sessions have the devices window open not how I left the plugin.
This is a complete pain in the arse. Hundreds of plugins not how I left them with no devices window and no output window. Its just a mess.

I've just tried 15.00j here - seems OK, But maybe I do not understand the problem completely.
I loaded a few devices, into slots A..H, changed to Edit mode, changed a few parameters and saved the project. On re-opening the project the GUIs opened as expected.
