I noticed that United Plugins released Expanse3D plugin recently as is currently at an introductory price. I've demoed Expanse3D against MStereoSpread (that I already own). They sound different, but in general terms it seems that MStereoSpread can achieve a similar effect, but perhaps with more control (albeit without the eq magic that achieves the "Height" effect in Expanse3D).
Anyone that has tried both and have any observations?

Looks really cool. I would try to clone it but jmg from United is on this forum. I think they use some derivative of Melda codebase. I'm not sure how different but you may be able to hit him up and ask some questions?
