Take Friktion & Algoritm for a demo. You'll want them, too

Then again there wasn't much they could really add to the browser imho as it's the easiest to navigate imho.
Though I wish you could have a favorites collection.

I think you had to sign up and be selected as a beta tester.simmo75 wrote: Wed May 26, 2021 9:14 pmWhere is the beta, I’m not seeing it in my account?antic604 wrote: Wed May 26, 2021 8:29 pm v12.0 beta (4.8GB!) is available for download with 2 new features compared to v11.4 beta:

You can already - just click that "+" at the bottom of the Browser and then you can drag in there devices, presets and samples.

Are you in beta for high-res Reason? Do you have 12 beta license in your regular user account?simmo75 wrote: Wed May 26, 2021 9:14 pmWhere is the beta, I’m not seeing it in my account?antic604 wrote: Wed May 26, 2021 8:29 pm v12.0 beta (4.8GB!) is available for download with 2 new features compared to v11.4 beta:

I was in the beta for 11 but missed the invite for 12.
Does anybody know if Friktion and Algoritm will be included in 12?
I’m so tempted to buy them during the sale but have a free upgrade to 12, obviously don’t want to waste my hard earned cash...

You can still sign up and join the beta 12 testing
https://www.reasonstudios.com/beta-test/signup
I don't think anyone knows everything that will be in 12, we know the main measures being added but not if they will throw in any more Rack extensions...there will be no suite edition, so it will be interesting to see what is included (they could add the stuff people own in suite as the free stuff for everyone as it’s a bit older....)

Well they've kind of already announced what's in Reason 12 haven't they?

Headline features sure (most very sketchy!) but I would imagen there will be other small improvements and 'including' a 1 or 2 older Re's can be done on the day of announcement as it doesn't need beta or develoepment...no one knows if it will happen or not (especially with Reason+) but it could and they do charge £399 for the 'base' product of Reason, so it 'adds value' for new users....That price is close to Live 'Suite' and FL 'all plugin' editions both of which have a lot of extra content!hotmitts wrote: Thu May 27, 2021 7:51 am Well they've kind of already announced what's in Reason 12 haven't they?

They've not said that's ALL there is.hotmitts wrote: Thu May 27, 2021 7:51 am Well they've kind of already announced what's in Reason 12 haven't they?
When R+ was announced, they were hinting at more things, e.g.:
So far we know about 2 of the 3 things above: high-res and new Sampler/Combinator."Yes, we are working on a major update to Reason to come later this year that will include high resolution graphics, workflow enhancements and some new devices, too. We’ll price it similarly to how we have before for the perpetual license owners. Reason+ subscribers gain immediate access upon release."
---
Having said that, there's no chance - IMO - for inclusion of Friktion, Algoritm or Pattern Mutator for free in Reason 12. No one would ever buy new REs from them anymore and they'd lose one of the most important selling points for Reason+ (all RS' REs "free" the moment they're available).
