You don't need a degree to be a CEO, you just need to be able to convince other people that you awesome!EnochLight wrote: Fri May 28, 2021 1:25 pmNo way!? I'm also a CEO! I got my degree at the University of Being Awesome. You?![]()

So Intro is discontinued ...maybe it's me but I actually found it quite hard to find what the 'Reason Suite' actually includes and whether that still exists? The other thing is why is the shop not easily linked to from the main website ? They're 2 different things nowadays? Is it just me ?

It still exists, I posted a link to buy it previously with a further 15% off the 30% off price...shops still sell it as a download code (its not like its boxed stuff they are selling old stock) so no idea why Reason don't sell it other than its great value an they don't want people to go that route, they want you to subscribe! These are them main Re additions (suite is just Reason 11 and a plug in bundle!):hotmitts wrote: Fri May 28, 2021 1:42 pm So Intro is discontinued ...maybe it's me but I actually found it quite hard to find what the 'Reason Suite' actually includes and whether that still exists? It is also quite possible there will be a Suite 12, I have seen nothing official to say there wont be...I think they are going through a transformation and ideally want people to subscribe (that the current push) but will add other things to generate revenue once the subscription levels off...there are no rules.

Or Maybe a Reason 12 Suite will be subscription version only? They will have to offer goodies that the buy-versions don't, but without angering non-subscribers, so they leave the party. What a balance

No, there is zero chance that there will be a Suite 12. The Reason "Suite" product line has been discontinued. Going forward, there is only Reason+ subscription for everything, or standard perpetual license upgrades where you bring any/all of your owned RE's to any version.SLiC wrote: Fri May 28, 2021 1:51 pm It is also quite possible there will be a Suite 12, I have seen nothing official to say there wont be...

Reason Suite wasn't really anything other than reason 11 with a bundle of Re's included anyway, so I guess they can just have Reason 12 and still sell 'bundles' of Re's if they want to simplify the product line...
I had 11 then upgraded to 11 suite, I had to download and install '5 gigs' suite version and the only thing that was different form the 11 normal was the word 'suite' on the splash screen and a few more Re licences in my account

Anybody knows the answer to this please let me know.summer2000 wrote: Fri May 28, 2021 12:12 pmThat is a nice discount there through Audiodeluxe. Here's the thing...I already own Reason 11 Suite. Would I be able to purchase the Reason 11 upgrade from them and just sit on the license until Reason 12 is released and register it then? From what I've read I'd get to keep all the RE's that I got with the Suite version and use them in 12. If that would work, I may upgrade to 12.SLiC wrote: Fri May 28, 2021 9:23 amNo worries- it actually says you get the free reason 12 I think- you only see the extra discount when its in basket (I got 15%)

4.9 GB on Mac, right? The Windows version is only 4.1 GB. That's actually about the same size as the standard Reason 11 version if I'm not mistaken. Version 10 was 3.6 GB on Windows, which is only a difference of roughly 500 MB (probably from other devices and Scenic being "built-in", and it's a rompler). Not sure why Mac images are so much larger for the same stuff, though. You already own 11 (Suite), so buying an upgrade to 11 (from a previous version) again would NOT get you a free upgrade to 12 unless you still have full 10 or older license to upgrade...

Thanks for responding. I guess I'll sit on hands until I see a good price for the Reason 12 upgrade. I'm not sure if I'll take the subscription route yet.EnochLight wrote: Fri May 28, 2021 3:49 pmYou already own 11 (Suite), so buying an upgrade to 11 (from a previous version) again would NOT get you a free upgrade to 12 unless you still have full 10 or older license to upgrade...

I wonder what the % is of users who now subscribe (so they may no new money from 12 launching unless more people subscribe) and users who own Reason version XX and could pay to upgrade?
I won't be surprised if Reason 12 gets a few Re's thrown in, maybe Reason Drum Kits & Electric Bass just to add to the value....
