MXXX: Replicate basic "modulation" function (just rate/depth) found in Convolution module and others

I need to split off some of the functions in the Convolution module to separate modules for signal flow purposes. I've got most of them duplicated already, but I'm not quite sure how to create the very simple "modulation" option. It's just a modulation depth and rate, so I'm assuming it's easy, but the Chorus module, for instance, has all kinds of other controls and I'm not sure which to disable or what exact settings I should use to get identical results to using the "modulation" option within the Convolution module.
