Hey!
I can´t figure out how to use my Midi-Controller-Buttons to change the presets.
I want to use two buttons on my keyboard (MIDI-CC values 92 and 77), the first one to switch to the previous and the other one to the next preset. On other synths I used there is a "Learn"-function where you can easily assign the buttons by pressing them while midi-learning, but how do I assign them in MSF? I found that menu "Preset switch" under "Midi" but I can´t figure out hot to assign the buttons there..

Edit: Also tried it like this. But this doesn´t work, there is nothing happening when pressing the buttons.

Edit2: Figured it out, had to set the value to "trigger" :tu:

Just got 2 questions: It isn´t possible to switch the presets within a specific instruments or is it? And is it possible to trigger the "Dice"-Button per Midi?

Hi, the Preset switch tab lets you switch between global presets, but not really between devices & device presets. I'd recommend using the program changes and bank changes to do that. That's what MIDI has specified after all. If you need some specific buttons, perhaps there's some MIDI tool that would convert that? We could add such a feature of course, but there are already tremendous numbers of features and ways to control things and honestly it is getting a bit too crowded.

Alright, thanks for answering.
Yeah there are already a lot of controls and it´s really fun to play with all that stuff. The only thing I am missing is a way to press the Dice-Button with the Buttons of my Midi-Keyboard as I think it would be fun to just switch randomly through all those presets when making songs without using the mouse.
