Meldaproduction's MSoundfactory and MPowersynth both offer randomization buttons for changing parameters.

The first and the best: Crystal. It's a pity it will probably never be updated as it needs some GUI love.

Is that still available? I think the CM version of that was one of the first VSTs I ever tried!

Nope. Sadly, they folded a couple of years back. Scanned Synth was the original, followed by Enzyme, which I have. It's an unruly synth, but capable of great beauty.

Serum has had the "Hybridize" feature which es essentially a scaled down version of Absynth's mutate.

I'm tied to Cubase these days, so can only use 64-bit stuff but, I do remember Oatmeal being one of the better freebies "back in the day".

i use jbridge to get old favourite 32s into cubase, works great

Does it now? I've not noticed that. Is it new-ish? I may not have a very recent version.

I find it hit and miss. For example, my beloved SQ8L just bloody refuses to work!

Oh yes! I love Phonec 2 and had forgotten about that.
