Warp time is a great feature, but I just had to manually place dozens of warp points following a very simple and consistent logic (basically, at the start of each note!) and it would be great if Waveform could do that for me. I guess there might be two main variants: one that just places warp points at the beginning of a note, and one that also places them at the end (so as to make it easy to reduce silent time between two notes).
(At least I THINK this is a feature request: I've re-read the relevant section on the manual and this feature is not listed. I also don't remember hearing about it when I watched the instructional video!)
Feature request: auto-placement for warp points

Oh wow, groove doctor: I have a pro version and had no idea that that feature even existed.
I'll give it a try ASAP, although I see it doesn't use time warping and according to the admiral bumblebee review it uses slicing and apparently it introduces gaps around the slices when quantising.
The concept seems exactly what I needed, though, although it seems designed mostly for use with drums and I needed it to make a semi-complex guitar accompaniment a little tighter on the beat.
