Just bought analog lab- are the presets proprietary to Arturia? I.e., can you import presets that are free or purchased elsewhere or do they have to be bought from Arturia?

Native Instruments are doing half price upgrades on Komplete. Before I log in the price quoted to upgrade to the standard version is "£89.50 for owners of KOMPLETE 2-12". After logging in I'm quoted £179.50, presumably because I own KOMPLETE 11 ULTIMATE.
Anyone had any joy upgrading to the standard version from an earlier ultimate version at the lower quoted rate? I'm not fussed about the extra stuff in 13 Ultimate and not even that bothered about the extra stuff I got with 11 ULTIMATE, I want to upgrade just to get Massive X, Noire, Super 8 and Guitar Rig 6 Pro.

If no-one knows I'll send them an email.

Unfortunately, AFAIK, that does not work. Coincidentally, I have had K8 and K8U (Upgrade) in my account since the beginning, so I always get all the possible options. So, due to the nature of their system, it is probably good to have the Standard version (at the least) in your account, so that you can update/upgrade as necessary.

Still, NI chat support is live. Would be good to check with them for a possibility.

Great. I'd happily sell the bastard thing, but I can't do without Kontakt 6 and buying that on its own tends to wipe out what I'd make from the sale. I think apart from Raum which I picked up as a freebie at the time that the base Kontakt 6 (i.e. without bothering with the bundled libraries) is pretty much the only product in the entire bundle I use these days. Maybe I should advertise a swap plus money deal for someone willing to swap a Kontakt 6 license for 11 Ultimate. Maybe a swap for 11 Ultimate to 13 Standard?

That was sad, but expected.

I would recommend that you sell your K11U full version. Grab K8/9/10/11 for cheap. This way if you will also get Kontakt 5. If that's not needed, you can grab K12 Standard. Then, update/upgrade as desired. Getting the older version of Standard is good, as I have observed they had the older products, which IIRC got shuffled in K9-11 in not-so-good way. K8 is probably the best option. I think it is worth to have more than just Kontakt 6.

One more way. Sell your K11U. Grab K13 Select for 50% off with coupon SELECT21 now. Use that to update/upgrade to K13 Standard. Cheapest official route to K13 Standard. Note that Select does not upgrade directly to K13U or K13U CE, which I think you are not interested in anyway.

Of course, you would need to evaluate any products that you would lose if you choose any of these routes.

Yeah maybe, unfortunately I do need Kontakt 6 for a couple of things I use, Kontakt 5 won't cut it. I wish there was a way to import Kontakt libraries into another similar product like Falcon or Halion because I'd happily sell all the rest of the stuff off and never look back.

You can get the free Embertone Arcane (https://www.embertone.com/instruments/arcane.php), do the Kontakt Crossgrade (~$130) and sell your K11U.
