Plug n Script Editor

Hi, is this the right place to get advice for plug'n script?

My question is, should I use Xcode or Visual Studio for coding this plugin, or use some other app, I ask because I have these 2 already, but are there more efficient ways of scripting for plug'n script?

I like VSCodium, it's Visual Studio Code without the phone home garbage that microsoft inserts.
