And those of us who actually paid and want to do the right thing get punished by having to be online and are subject to thee whims of this software and the cloud connection. Roland should look at the way Native Instruments, Arturia, Plugin Alliance, IK Multimedia, iZotope, etc. work. All of these use their management software to authorize the machines, and from then on users don't have to bother opening that management software again, except to download updates, new software or something like that.
THIS IS THE RIGHT WAY TO WORK WITH THIS KIND OF LICENSES, IMO
