Is it possible to invert the carrier with the modulator ...
Normally the midi notes are the carriers and we set the modulator to a certain frequency ...
I wonder if we can invert the process : the incoming midi notes being the modulator with a virtual fixed carrier.
I'm trying to find how a series of sounds were made ( reverse ingineering ) and
I think it was made that way. The lower part of the sound is always the same but the upper part
of the sound modulate like Ring or FM .
Best.

Thanks, for the answer, it's so fast I did not know it was possible.
I got 2 midi track one MIDI LEARN for the melody that I want for the modulator ,
and the carrier midi track a copy of the melody but with the single note ( I kept the ryhthm ).
I dont know " the flow " of data inside MSF
i.e. what come first : the MIDI learn or de MIDI so I made a little delay to
fix the modulator before the sending the carrier.
