If anyone has a $25 PA voucher to give away that would be much appreciated - I am pretty keen on Silo but it is still a bit much for me at the moment

There's a new PA sale voucher that might be handy:
"SUMMER-SALE-20OFF
(No Minimum Spend)
Use this voucher during checkout – Code can only be used 1x (once).
Feel free to share the code with your friends!"
Who bets that code will not, in fact, only be usable once?

I would email them. They have everything except Personal to Professional. They're good guys, I bet they'll do something for you...fairlyclose wrote: Thu Jun 03, 2021 5:35 amBummer, thanks but not on their site eitherUncle E wrote: Thu Jun 03, 2021 5:20 amSorry, I don't know. Do they have it on sale on their site?fairlyclose wrote: Wed Jun 02, 2021 11:47 pm Any idea why there is no upgrade pricing from personal to pro?

For me (Reaper too) it's around 2GB for the first instance and then around 1GB for each subsequent one. Maybe the new update is a little less?fairlyclose wrote: Thu Jun 03, 2021 10:12 pm7 instances in Reaper, completely different spaces, each uses about 1% CPU on my ancient i% Win10 machine. Bit over 7G Ram. The dev has said somewhere how much RAM each instance uses, I think he said it is a bit over 1G per instance / space which fits my experienceCeej wrote: Thu Jun 03, 2021 8:09 pmI read through several reviews, and they all mentioned it was quite resource-intensive - memory in particular, but CPU as well (and obviously disk space - 135GB for the IR library!). It's not an every-track kind of reverb.Photo_G wrote: Thu Jun 03, 2021 1:55 pm Thanks Eric! I have the Lite edition and it doesn't seem to eat up much CPU. Does anyone have the Personal edition that can comment on the CPU utilization of that one?
I never noticed the CPU being high either.

Could be worth trying the summer voucher SUMMER-SALE-20OFF for $20 discount, I don't see it mentioned that it's only for use with sale items...? May work for transfers too thinking about it...fairlyclose wrote: Sat Jun 05, 2021 9:20 pmDamn, I am desolatewaltercruz wrote: Sat Jun 05, 2021 9:11 pmNo loyalty vouchers this month...fairlyclose wrote: Sat Jun 05, 2021 8:14 pm If anyone has a $25 PA voucher to give away that would be much appreciated - I am pretty keen on Silo but it is still a bit much for me at the moment

Indeed. I haven't used it yet, but I am sure it works for license transfer fee too.GaryG wrote: Sun Jun 06, 2021 8:11 amCould be worth trying the summer voucher SUMMER-SALE-20OFF for $20 discount, I don't see it mentioned that it's only for use with sale items...? Probably best to find some PA plugin(s) you are interested in for cheap and use this voucher. The sale is otherwise pretty uninteresting so far, as usual.

The German Beat mag has a TH-U Beat version this month
(the sneaky gits of course advertise it as "TH-U included").
Is there anyone out there already owning the mag who can tell how crippled the included version is?
Especially interested in if you can use the expansion packs (Rig Libraries) in the Beats version ?

Question - see if buy the PA Mastering Bundles, can you then sell on the bits and pieces of each bundle that you don't need?

Yes. Though they are all registered to you, so each plugin will incur a transfer feesubharmonic wrote: Mon Jun 07, 2021 11:28 am Question - see if buy the PA Mastering Bundles, can you then sell on the bits and pieces of each bundle that you don't need?

You can, but I suggest you look at the market (right here in Buy&Sell) to check for availability and prices... some plugins have 30+ people selling them for a few $ and they just don't sell anymore... (like the whole bunch I have for sale). It's mostly digital waste.subharmonic wrote: Mon Jun 07, 2021 11:28 am Question - see if buy the PA Mastering Bundles, can you then sell on the bits and pieces of each bundle that you don't need?
“In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.”
