You can, but I suggest you look at the market (right here in Buy&Sell) to check for availability and prices... some plugins have 30+ people selling them for a few $ and they just don't sell anymore... (like the whole bunch I have for sale). It's mostly digital waste.

Also, if you only need a few and can wait, it might be a viable strategy to buy used and activate when it is free. There is no time limit for paying the fee.

Is there anyone out there already owning the mag who can tell how crippled the included version is?
Especially interested in if you can use the expansion packs (Rig Libraries) in the Beats version ?

It's TH-U 1.3.6 with a limited amount of devices. The Rig player is one of the greyed out (not included) devices.

... but I have to say if you just have the IDEA to get into computer-based music and want to spend less than 20 Euros on the content Computer Music gives you plus some cheap but decent Superlux headphones, you can try out a lot for less than a decent dinner. That's what I did some years ago.

Seems about right. Problem is for companies charging the seller where the company sale fee is more than the software will sell for.
My cutoff as a seller is around the $10 or more before PayPal fees depending on the software.Below that might as well keep it

It included 3 Amps with matching Cabs with like a dozen pedals. There was more then enough for someone the use it. The issue also comes with the full Syntonik J-60, a zampler pack, some decent sample packs. It's well worth the $10 a month I pay to access all of these music magazines through Readly.

It's confirmed that there are no monthly loyalty vouchers in June and December. It's been like that for a few years now. For the months where there's a continual set of 2-day sales throughout most of the month (June and December), there are no loyalty vouchers that are sent out.

In their FAQ, Plugin Alliance states:

...We don't send out monthly gift vouchers during major promotions though, for example the big XMAS promo. But... in these months we will have offers for everybody which typically far exceed a simple gift voucher anyway.

That being said, they do tend to send out a voucher like the current single use $20 SUMMER-SALE-20OFF voucher which will more than likely be reset at least once if not twice.

Also, for the other two MEGA sale events in the year in March and September, it's rare that you can use your monthly loyalty voucher. The monthly vouchers tend to expire just before the sale and the new batch is only sent after the sale is done.

Any ideas when is the best time to snag a load of Plugin Alliance plugs?
I've got a $249.99 voucher burning a hole in my pocket, and in August I think, will get another.
(The first voucher code I tried to use in January but for some reason didn't work when I went to pull the trigger, so it should be good till Jan '22).

Just trying to get the most bang for buck from these vouchers before I maybe cancel my PA sub.

Also - any ideas which are the savvy purchases to unlock better deals? I've noticed since acquiring Townhouse for cheap, that Shadowhills Class A has a decent-ish reduction - but still - that's one I'd probably like to acquire (but not at the current $129.99 I'm currently offered) - any guidance would be really appreciated.

Probably by the end of the month.

Currently they are doing a Summer Sale that will last until June 24. In the last year, the Summer Sale was followed by a Mega-Sale, that lasted until 2 July, so, they probably should do a mega-sale starting on June 25 this year too.

They usually do 4 Mega-Sales though the year (and some other special sales), and if you not in a hurry, I would even suggest to wait a bit more to see if prices will be a bit better in the next sales.

A few points of interest:

The subscription vouchers do not have any expiry dates as stated by Dirk Ulrich, CEO & Owner at PA, on the Plugin Alliance Facebook group. If you ever run into an issue with a voucher that doesn't work, you can reach out to support to get it resolved (as you had to do with your voucher).

Second, like waltercruz mentioned, the best time is to wait for the MEGA Sales which happen 4 times a year (end of March, June, September, and December) especially towards the end of the sale when they add a few more plugins. This is usually when you can get the most bang-for-the-buck with your voucher. That being said, the longer you wait (i.e. 3-6 months), the higher the chances that prices will be lower for plugins like the Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor Class A in a future MEGA Sale.

Third, the lowest price the Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor Class A plugin has been is $99. The last time was a few days ago, June 7 & 8. If you added the $20 discount voucher, that would have made it $79. While it's not guaranteed to be the same price at the end of the month, most plugins that were on sale throughout the current Summer Sale will be on sale for the same price during the June MEGA sale towards the end of the month.
