When i slaice a part of a looped step clip the chopped part is uneditable. It should be editable.
I want to have a long loop, but when i want to make a variation i chop the desired part, and i want to change few steps.

I've never actually noticed this before you pointed it out, strange behavior indeed. For a workaround you can convert to a MIDI clip and back to a step clip ( you are forced to choose quantization ) , you can then indeed edit the steps.

I know.
