I've had Bitwig 4.0b2 open for a couple of hours when it suddenly informed me I wasn't authorised to use it. Despite still being able to log on to the website, my account credentials do not appear to be working with the app.

Naturally I will contact support.

I'm having this same problem (with 3.3.10, not the beta). I'll now stop worrying about it a bit and hope they straighten things out quickly at their end.

(Offline activation doesn't work either, it says they changed the file format and you need a fresh activation file.)

Right before this happened, I was having a weird issue (in 3.3.10) where I couldn't add items to the Grid with the mouse. Which could be a demo limitation thing, come to think of it.

Yes, it locked me out of a working session on 3.3.10. The offline activation produces a stack trace instead of an activation file, and so my session is ended, unsaved.

Same, and if I've learned anything from this forum, it's probably because of apple M1 support.

Same issue here with v4 beta 2

Post

Same here, I'm at 3.1.3 and my activated PC became "unrecognized", then no way to log in. Offline activation fails with some issue with the activation format. Not cool Bitwig

Post

I received the same error just now while I had Bitwig 4 Beta 2 open out of nowhere. You should report it as well, so they can address this urgently, as I just sent in a report to beta@bitwig.com a few seconds ago so they are aware. I suspect we aren't the only ones. It may be on a clock because I updated to Bitwig Beta 2 just a few hours ago as well.

Post

Same here. Project didn't save. I'm a bit angry if I'm honest. Deadline tomorrow.

Post

Does not appear to be an issue with the Beta or any particular version. Just hit me on version 3.3.7 and 3.3.10. Just had a good groove going and bam, shut down. Pretty sure I lost the track. Not cool BW. And of course I reached out to support.

Just lost two big unsaved sessions. Thanks.

Same here. Same issue on 3.3 and 4 Beta 2. Hopefully just a blip. Lots of applications use 3rd-party auth providers now, and those can go down (as can first-party servers).

I think I successfully sent a support request too -- hard to say since it doesn't really give feedback that it was sent.

Yup, it just refreshes the page.
My freakin god, Bitwig...

EDIT: Tried a couple more times, doesn't work. Sent an email to "contact@bitwig.com" and finally got an email with a ticket code.

I managed to submit an email to support and received an acknowledgement and a ticket number.
