Thank you for your interest in our software. Both products are quite different:
Destructor is a distortion and amp simulation plug-in (that can be used for guitars, drums, mixing or sound design), whereas Axiom is a full suite of audio effects for guitar & bass that contains Destructor for the amp simulation. It is also available as a standalone application, and can load third party plug-ins.

Just another question, since Axiom contains Destructor : if you buy Destructor first and want to upgrade to Axiom later, do you still have to pay Axiom's full price? Or use there some sort of upgrade/crossgrade option with a reduced Price?

Yes there is indeed an upgrade path - no need to pay the full price if you want to move to Axiom later.
Just FYI, the built-in Destructor in Axiom is the same as the full version, except that it cannot be loaded outside of Axiom, and there are a few presets missing (presets have been streamlined for guitar & bass usage there).
