Hive 2 - XY Assign - (No Bug, Solved!)

Hi!

I've been experiencing some weirdness with XY assignments in Hive 2. I like to set up my Hive track template in Reaper to be completely blank - no matrix assignments, no XY assignments, etc... I clear out my patch in Hive, save it in Hive, save the track template in Reaper. All seems good! When I open up the track template again, the XY assignments that I previously removed (and saved over) are all back again. This happens with Reaper track templates AND with loading individual patches within Hive.

This could certainly be user error (I could definitely be missing something painfully obvious! ) but I figured I would check in here.

I'm on Windows 10, Reaper v6.29, using the Hive 2 VST3 version.

Hi Crumbfort,

not a bug, but a feature! You can turn it off though.
Make sure you have the latest version, Hive 2.1 - if not, grab the installer from the Hive product page.
Check the preferences (cogwheel icon in top right corner), select the tools icon, find "XY Auto Assign" at the bottom and set it to "off".

Ahh, brilliant! I was indeed missing something quite obvious . Thanks so much! Hive is absolutely fantastic!
