This has been discussed often already and got denied. Not only would implementing a 3rd party plugin host introduce new issues, Meldaproduction would also sell less plugins.

If you're creative with Photoshop you should be able to pull out backgrounds and knobs and components and use the GUI designer to make a similar looking and functioning plug-in, which plugins were you talking about specifically?
