Something super cool in the future, maybe in the next couple years would be either Melda production t-shirt or sweatshirt!
I know it's a simple logo but it still would be pretty cool as a conversation point or just something that looks nice.
Would anyone else Rock the big M?

There was already a push for MUnderwear just a few months ago, but fortunately it was rejected. viewtopic.php?f=138&t=556206
I'm starting to think there might really be a Melda cult here. As much as I love the plugins, some people here are going a bit over board.

I'd certainly wear a shirt. Plus, I used someone's referral code who already has the MComplete Bundle... Where else are they going to use those credits if not on a shirt? Or pants?
Or underwear?
Or underwear?

Starting to think?? Good heavens Held, you've been around here forever. I started calling myself a Meldamoonie since I bought my first non-FreeFX plug-in, the beloved-by-many workhorse MModernCompressor.Held wrote: Sat Jun 19, 2021 7:03 pm I'm starting to think there might really be a Melda cult here. Meldaproduction inspires that kind of admiration and affection among people with a certain type of thinking. They don't care much for emulating 50-year-old processors that were limited by what components were cheap and available at the time, built to price points, etc. They'd rather figure out what those old things do, and then build a plug-in that can do all that and have all the benefits of the latest digital signal processing techniques.
Every possible parameter is exposed, and if you lift the hood, there's even more. They're the opposite of the "black box." Some people like to know exactly what it is we're doing, we tinker, we take things apart, mod our instruments. Meldaproduction caters to that type of person. You can spend $25 and get a plug-in that will sound great right out of the box as well as rewarding hours of study if you're up for it. I tinker with my tools when I'm not feeling musically inspired, and they're great for that.
I fell in love when I realized after a couple of development cycles how much of the code base is shared by the whole line. If you know about software development, it's frankly brilliant.
The fact that they're something of an acquired taste generates a sense of being in on something that fewer people understand, and humans love that. There is a sense of an underground community.
Also, they sound really, really good. Vojtech has The Ear and applies it to the product. The multi system licensing, the lifetime upgrades, the fact that you get a new plug-in whenever he adds to a bundle, they are all very generous policies compared to other companies.
tl/dr: I want laptop stickers and t-shirts. I would so rock a Meldaproduction t-shirt at gigs, would I ever

I may be in denial about having joined a cult. I was just looking for great plugins, nothing elseStarship Krupa wrote: Sun Jun 20, 2021 3:44 amStarting to think?? It's not really underground if people are wearing shirts and try to push the plugins on everyone who isn't using them yet.

Would Vojtech perhaps give permission to someone to make shirts on his behalf using the Melda logo? There are plenty of make-your-own shirt stores (I can't think of any right now but I have seen them).

How about the phrase "Melda Audio Gear is Amazing"? You could but it on the front of a baseball cap. Probably would be too crowded though and wouldn't fit ... so maybe just as an abbreviation.

“I didn’t know so many people hated Melda UIs this much! You’re telling me I can’t even walk down the street without getting harrassed for it?”dmbaer wrote: Tue Jun 22, 2021 7:57 pm How about the phrase "Melda Audio Gear is Amazing"? But, there is no ‘gear’ from Melda

I'd rather make some music and leave the merchandise to popular brands
I know Fabfilter has at least something useful like a mousepad. But wouldn't buy it from them either.

At the same time, I want that one odd person in public to run over and be like, “dude, I f**king love Melda, we’re friends now”Soundplex wrote: Tue Jun 22, 2021 9:27 pm I'd rather make some music and leave the merchandise to popular brandsI know Fabfilter has at least something useful like a mousepad. Melda apparel would still be a lot better than a shirt that has "I use Reaper" on it
I think Melda plugins are really advanced, the GUIs are technical but totally okay, but the Melda logo just looks like an oddly shaped M, not cool but awkward.
So my suggestion: apparel or gear with text only, or redo the effin' company logo to look cool and 2021, and then make apparel and gear with it.

Hehe thanks folks, but here's the thing - I'm kinda a minimalist - I try to have as little "things" as possible, for sake of the nature. Well, when it comes to music instruments my wife would probably say I suck at minimalism though
