M9's live part matrix is something like Logic Live Loops, Live Session View, Bitwig Clip Launcher.nenneb wrote: Sun Jun 06, 2021 8:16 am So still I have no idea what to expect from "clip launching". Mabe Jo can give a hint or brief description?

I apologize if this was covered, but will the clip launcher have something like a dedicated midi track? So instead of playing the clips live and recording midi output from clips, one can compose the clip midi triggers in a track, sent to the clip launcher. It's the reason I keep an old plug called Phrazor around, as I can do it easily there. This would be more advanced than Bitwig and Live, where it has to be "live".

I cannot answer that question yet, but here's a little update on M9:
There are 2 main goals:
1) Make MuLab also available as a plug-in, thus merging MuLab and MUX Modular Plug-in.
Of course it's the intention that M9 plug-in can still also be used as a pure synth/effect plugin like M8 plug-in.
2) The live clip matrix, which is something like Logic Live Loops, Live Session View, Bitwig Clip Launcher.
The corona pandemic and a couple of aspects in personal life have cast some shadow over the M9 R&D the last months.
At this point M9 R&D is around 75% done. It may be that M9.0 will be released with only 1 of these 2 main new features, and the other main new feature being released in M9.x. That's something still to be decided, depending on how R&D progresses the next weeks.
More info on M9 will be shared asap when R&D has progressed far enough and so things are getting definite enough.
Enjoy Making Music!

Thanks for the info update. Hope all is well with you
Will MuLab retain its standalone nature? Or are you planning to merge it later so it's a plugin only?

Having OSC support would make integrating using TouchOSC, etc, possible. I tend to buy "less powerful" tablets: good enough to use as control surfaces but not for real time audio processing.

Since I am probably not the only user considering a move to Apple M1, is support planned? All I could find was an old report by a user. At that point apparently MuLab did not work at all, even with Rosetta.
Can anybody confirm this?
