Voxengo Colour Schemes Repository..

Just found this via the email from Voxengo. Very nice collection of colour schemes. I might try out one or two of these. I‘m a fan of customization.
The Voxengo GUIs have evolved nicely imho, and so have the GUIs of other plugin vendors. My favorite recent gui development is Fabfilters v3 of its delay plugin, Timeless.
I do wonder what improvements could be made to Voxengo plugins. I can only make suggestions for the plugins I use, but those will usually be from the perspective of a long-time user. A new user might feel very differently about it.
But first I‘m trying out some colours schemes .

Will mix for fun

Along those lines, I wonder if new users would benefit from a preset repository?

They're default on "CRTIV" style plugins (with new knobs), and you need to enable "show preset selector" in settings on classic style plugins

re: a lot of people touting ToneBooster in this thread, i decided to demo it again.
- it's low FPS (30 or so), compared to voxengo, fab (and a lot of other plugs) it looks stuttery, doesn't seem to be a way of changing it.
Interfaces look cool but still feel like less thought went into UX than Voxengo or Fab.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Black theme is too dark and unnecessary colorful for me.Sinisterbr wrote: ↑Wed Jun 23, 2021 5:50 pm I don't like the default (Grey) Voxengo's GUI, but the Black one is truly a beauty to behold. I don't see any need for Voxengo to change its GUI and interface. It's one of the best around.
The "I" in GUI is for interface.

Just compared all my TB plugins with Voxengo's @60FPS and I can't notice any difference. In fact, modulating filters in TB EQ produces graphical response so smooth that isn't even close to 30FPS. Honestly, I've been using them on daily basis for few years (version 4) and never had a stuttery feel with them.Ploki wrote: ↑Thu Jun 24, 2021 11:39 am re: a lot of people touting ToneBooster in this thread, i decided to demo it again.

weird, it's very obviously less FPS here, both M1 and Intel version.J1000 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 24, 2021 11:54 am

I think it used to be broken before catalinaAleksey Vaneev wrote: ↑Thu Jun 24, 2021 3:46 pm Maybe tell ToneBooster's developer to enable "asynchronous drawing", if he didn't already. It's a pretty much undocumented Apple information I didn't knew for years.

Yes, probably 2 versions before catalina I started to receive "lagging" comments without understanding how to solve this.Ploki wrote: ↑Thu Jun 24, 2021 5:51 pmI think it used to be broken before catalinaAleksey Vaneev wrote: ↑Thu Jun 24, 2021 3:46 pm Maybe tell ToneBooster's developer to enable "asynchronous drawing", if he didn't already. This is my very rough (have only tested it with the few Voxengo plugins I own) skin that I tried to make look as "modern" as possible. I think there's a severe lack of good looking light skins and I hope this contributes nicely
