I woulndnt say corrupt but I would say annoying since they bitch and moan that other companies dont dual develop for them. I say if you arent willing to do it yourselves keep your trap shut...however some will argue that they are just "returning the favor" but by doing so they just validate the situation rather than help to fix it. Just my personal oppinion on the whole thing.machinesworking wrote:... It's corrupt for Apple to not want to develop software for the competition? ...

So you think it's like "financial success" * "popularity" = constant?machinesworking wrote:Capitalism is the name of the game . No company survives without thinking about the bottom line. Do you think any VST or DX company would develop a product that potentially took sales from them?
That's to say, if emagic/apple decides to increase the financial success of their products, it would damage their popularity?
The other extreme, freeware mostly has high popularity and practically no financial success.
I think this could be taken as a general rule in business...
As far as the sense of my bashing goes, i just wanted to justify my vote. Especially when i saw the results that rule came to my mind.
