Great news: The ARM betas perform beautifully in Reaper's ARM beta. So I think I've isolated the problem to Bitwig Studio 4.0 beta v4

do these betas work for an Intel based machine running Big Sur?
Is there any news when Satin and Presswork will be Big Sur compatible on intel processors?

they work on m1 big sur, why they wouldn’t on intel?

Anyone else experiencing Studio One v5.2 crash on opening with the current DIVA beta?

I had to roll back to the release version so I could open my projects.

Presonus are working on a feature that can affect our plugins.
I can confirm that, because of this, the Diva 11152 beta will crash Studio One 5.2.1 during startup on Windows.
Presonus will, at some point, release a 5.2.2 update to deal with this.
Our next round of betas won't cause a crash anymore in SO 5.2.1.

Yes, we are aware of this.
But so far it's a total mystery to us what's going on in Live with the VST3 versions.
Some revisions do show up normally, and other revisions get scanned, but then simply vanish.
And sometimes a few of the plugins appear, while others with the same revision are not showing up.
We are currently investigating this issue.
It seems to be a Windows issue with Ableton Live (no problems on Mac), and only the VST3 is affected (VST2 plugins all show up).
same here, after trying to fix this in Live for a couple of hours, I came he re to look for newer versions, only to find that comment. I'd strongly suggest to update the first post with a warning!
Tested with 11.02 and 11.05b1/b2, vst3

After installing Diva and Repro on my new laptop and Live failing to detect both again, I now think I have found the reason. The Ableton Plugin scanner has a separate folder for its crash dumps (C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\CrashDumps), and in this, I found scanner crash dmps.
These show the scanner crashing on Diva and Repro with:
