Yes I’ve watched videos on yt and read the docs but I can’t seem to figure out how to get my microphone to work I’ve tried every combination of settings and I just can’t get it does anybody know what the problem is???

Are you using ASIO drivers? Audio input only works with ASIO AFAIK

I don’t have Asio so unless I get asio I will not be able to use a mic???

Also if I buy an audio interface will that fix the problem

1. You can download a free ASIO driver here: https://www.asio4all.org/
2. You can only use audio input with ASIO. MME (Windows native driver) doesn't play well with audio routing
3. An interface can help but is not necessary. If you have a mic you like which is already connected, there is no need. If you want to use an audio interface, so long as it has an ASIO driver it will work fine with Mulab.
