Linkedin isn't reliable, people don't update when they leave (or die!)
It's about 300-350 according to most business estimating sites, but these things are dynamic and you have subsidiaries, contractors, part time....

More people doesn't necessarily equal better or faster development. Look at NI they have 500 employees. I don't think anyone thinks of NI as "fast" when it comes to developing their software.

More people doesn't necessarily equal better or faster development. Look at NI they have 500 employees. I don't think anyone thinks of NI as "fast" when it comes to developing their software.

Reason 12 only supports VST3, correct?

On a recent performance prep, Reason rack crashed inside of Maschine inside of a minute of testing. Not good. Nothing fancy either, just one instance of the FM synth.

The plugin? It's vst3/au/aax.
The daw itself supports vst2 but not vst3.
No-one knows for sure if Reason 12 will support vst3 but I believe the devs have hinted yes, eventually.

I’ve been wondering that myself. Maybe they just have a bot that spits out sound packs every couple of months.
