I just demo'ed it (never tried it before) and like it quite a bit. Made me look at what verbs I have and realised pretty much all 'vintage' or character ones (eg VVV), fills a gap for me.ferez21 wrote: Fri Jul 02, 2021 4:38 pmJust got Phoenixverb for free by purchasing a Zampler sound pack for $5, neatGaryG wrote: Thu Jul 01, 2021 2:52 pm Exponential Audios PhoenixVerb free this month with any purchase at Plugin Boutique.

looking at the prices elsewhere, this just looks like they jumbled up the offer pricing - everywhere else has modo drum full and cross both at $149 and modo bass full and cross both at $99.Ploki wrote: Sat Jul 03, 2021 8:05 amtoby wrote: Fri Jul 02, 2021 9:20 pm MODO Drum $99 (Reg 299): https://blackoctopus-sound.com/product/modo-drum/

Modo Bass full at JRR shop is also $99 where as Modo Drum full is $149, same at Audio Delux as well (you also get 10% back in Deluxbucks)OneOfManyPauls wrote: Sat Jul 03, 2021 8:55 amlooking at the prices elsewhere, this just looks like they jumbled up the offer pricing - everywhere else has modo drum full and cross both at $149 and modo bass full and cross both at $99.Ploki wrote: Sat Jul 03, 2021 8:05 amtoby wrote: Fri Jul 02, 2021 9:20 pm MODO Drum $99 (Reg 299): https://blackoctopus-sound.com/product/modo-drum/

black octopus have corrected the price on their website - $149 for modo drum full+crossgrade, and $99 for modo bass full+crossgrade now, but they haven't corrected the post they made in the no discussion thread here.

...I'm still sitting on the fence as I really shouldn't buy anything else at the moment, just can't really afford it. But, is it as good as it looks? It looks both fun and flexible to program, seems to sound quite amazing and, with the promise of the upcoming feature of adding own samples, it really does look like it might open up a whole world of new sonic exploration. Thinking I'll have to sell something to buy it while it's still on offer...
