for some strange reason when i opened waveform pro 11 yesterday the space bar on my keyboard does'nt stop nor stop playback. could i have hit something wrong?

The only times I experience this is when a plugin window is open during playback, and it grabs control of the focus. Usually it's a simple matter of clicking in the center window and then tapping the spacebar, or just double-click stop in the transport window. It doesn't strike me as a Waveform issue but an irritation with whomever coded the plugin...and most of them will do this.

thanks but ther's no plugins in the project, and when i open other songs it's the same.

You didn't accidentally remap start/stop to another key ? What version of Wafeform 11 ?

To rule out a hardware issue (although I'm sure you've confirmed your spacebar works fine in other apps), consider remapping the transport controls to a temporary key and see if the problem moves to that new assignment. This isn't happening to me under Win 10, so seems to confined to your user interface. This is a bad one to have, for sure!

fixed! i assigned stop/start to spacebar in settings. i don't know how that happened.
