It would be nice if there was an Eq and a Compressor on each track by default. It could be a plugin similar to Soundspot's Paradox... Thanks :)

You can set up an edit with your preferred plugins then save that as a template.
Windows 10 / Intel core i7 2700k @ 3.50GHz / 16GB Ram / Emu 1212m Sound Card / Ati Radeon HD5400 Series G/Card

I definitely wouldn't want that. That's 8 tracks of plugins I'd have to replace on every project.

In addition to Terry's idea, you can also create drag and drop presets for every track.
Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and even Deezer, whatever the hell Deezer is.

Cakewalk by Bandlab has this feature and I find it very useful. If I want I can add other compressors or Eq and ignore the ones on the track (which, if not modified, do not change the sound).

I have a request on step clips.
When I load a step clip and then add or delete some pads in drum sampler, the step clip does not update that change. So I'll have to either delete the whole step clip and load it again or just let it be the way it is. And both are not great options.

I don't think you understand how step clips and the drum sampler work. The step clip only sends out MIDI. It is essentially a MIDI Clip with a different GUI. What you do in the drum sampler should have no relationship with the step clip. This is how all drum samplers work.
Linux version?

I think he means the names of rows in step clip, which are not updated regarding changes in the sampler.

Why would they be? You wouldn't expect changing settings in a VST synth to change your MIDI clips. They're two unrelated entities.

I do understand the confusion, I think some DAWs might have them as an integrated system. Or if you're familiar with some hardware drum machines / samplers.
