much prefer A2 to B2.
this time it was via the MBP speakers (2019 / 16,1) , which are pretty good speakers (which give an oddly wide stereo pread).
B2 in this situation resulted in a really hard quality to the kick I don't like. You may want just that. A2 has air, I think it's a very nice result actually.
I don't listen to music that sounds this hard really ever, so I'm a real fly in your ointment, possibly take that as more objective.

The violin pan thing is really weird by the way, even with the limiter/phase explanation.

Yeah, the limiter thing is the only thing I can think of. Super weird. It's a FabFilter L2 and I've never really had any issues with this plugin in the past. The difference is just so extreme. Ghosts in the machine?

Not that anyone cares, but I just bounced the track again with limiter in it's original settings and the panning was just like the master. Therefore it probably wasn't the limiter, it was just Logic being a d!#&.
