Help me: "Snap" does not join the midi notes to the grid

2021 - 3 years after the post and i'm having the same problem. And it's not the only problem with grid I have.

This never happens to me. But I never extend the note length by dragging the beginning of the note. Does it snap to the grid if you move it, instead of extending it?
