Aren't we in luck! The last time Meldaproduction ran this promo I gifted two friends with the FreeFX upgrade and the price came to $7.

This is a boon for first-timers: sign up for the newsletter, which gives you €10 credits. Then at checkout, apply a referral code (************) to take 20% off the price. Apply your €10, and you add some nice features (access to the Preset Exchange and Styles are worth the small amount, but you also get access to the deeper features). This applies to any bundle, of course, but I figure first-timers are more likely to be doing the upgrade.

If you're using a DAW like Cakewalk or REAPER that don't come with fancy stock plug-ins (although both do come with adequate plug-ins, the UI's are spartan by today's standards, IMO), the FreeFX upgrade gets you a cornucopia of goodies. MEqualizer and MCompressor (still my go-to sidechainer) are a couple of the best out there at what they do.

Data point: since I got my 1/2 price upgrade on the FreeFX bundle I've spent hundreds on Meldaproduction plug-ins, so the marketing people are doing a good job.

I'll second your data point. My wallet seems a lot lighter after the "free" plugins

Hehe it's better to have the tools ready and not use them, then not having them in the first place . MCompressor is cool, I didn't use it for a very long time though. It's kinda like a smaller version of MDynamics.
