I have the license I paid for and the new one. As far as I can tell, There's only 2 files to download, the one with examples or just the program itself without example so the NFR version is the same program but probably different terms in the EULA. I haven't authorized the new one as I don't have the computer it's going on yet, but I'm pretty sure it's the full version.

Ho, and for thoses who are anxious about the effect on upgrade, I remember very clearly the upgrade price to T2 would be the difference between what we paid for T1 and the new T2 price; then, obviously, T1 NFR owner would have to pay full price for T2...

Well, if T2 is a paid upgrade to existing owners... I can feel for them but doesn't still make that this is a bad marketing move.
What exactly states that the NFR version can't be updated (by paying for the update)?
NFR simply means Not For Resale. You can't give it to your friends (but they can get theirs from Mackie), you can't sell it.
Apart from that, didn't notice anything about NFR limitations on their site, not that I spent that much time digging extra info on it.
And truth be told, I couldn't care less. This is THE BEST way to evaluate a piece of software I've seen, now I have ample time to make up my mind about it instead of reading the brainless praise on KVR
Beats limited demos with lame sound-dropping-every-two-seconds AAS bullshit, crippled demos, only-8bit-output and what ever garbage demos are nowadays filled with.
And as a marketing move, hell yeah it's brilliant.
Until those pesky KVR crusaders start bitching about it... I give it two hours max and this thread is filled with clueless Tracktion fanboys whining about others getting something for free they paid for, followed by more brainless speculation about what the NFR version doesn't contain, how it's limited, can't be updated etc...
