I will do that
Thank you again for your involvement and the colossal job you do for us.
No I tried that - it still takes me back to zero when I stop and start again! I need to pause for about a second between clicks of the play button to prevent it from doing so - but I tend to go fastmoss wrote: Thu Jul 08, 2021 5:26 pmChanging the "Behavour on stop" setting to "Pause" should do the trick.ozias_leduc wrote: Thu Jul 08, 2021 9:38 am Hi there! I'm using Push 2 - is there a way to get the play button to behave the same as the space bar?
The manual says : "Play - Start/Stop playback. Double click to move play cursor to start of song. You can configure the behavior on stop in the preferences."
But when I press play twice - ie to stop and start again - it counts this as a double click unless I consciously go very slow. Is there a way to disable this behaviour ?
Much appreciated. Confirmed working here. Thank you!!moss wrote: Thu Jul 08, 2021 7:02 pm DrivenByMoss 12.3.2 is online!

- Fixed: Exiting birds-eye view did also toggle session flip.
Generic Flexi is not for scripting commands. So no.sj1 wrote: Sat Jul 10, 2021 7:38 pm Q - Is it possible to send Flexi a trigger from within Bitwig, i.e. via a note or CC message in a MIDI clip.
At the end of a follow chain, I want to stop all clips and stop the transport.
This was very direct to do via an external trigger (e.g. a button on my nanoKontrol2), but I'm not sure how to do it (or if it even can be done) in a predetermined/prerecorded way.
IOW, I want a composition to end at a specific time/point, reliably and w/o manual intervention being required.
Possible, or not possible?
No, it is not supported. It is also not possible to switch the modes from the device, however it would be possible to e.g. add this to the settings but would also be a workflow show-stopper.sj1 wrote: Mon Jul 12, 2021 2:40 pm Do I understand correctly that Custom Modes as might have been configured separately with the Novation Components app are not currently available when operating under DBM?
You are right, I only have the button combination to enter the mode in the manual. Will add some more text...sj1 wrote: Mon Jul 12, 2021 2:42 pm Also, BTW, I learned from this video:
at the 6:00 mark how to enter the User Mode (via the Custom button) and then program it to make the pads act as 8 sliders for whatever continuous operation I want to map them to.
This is very nice! - but am I mistaken if I say that I don't see that information anywhere in the DBM 12.3.1 Manual (July 8, 2021)?

I have the latest version script. 12.3.1

Seems to be broken. I reported it to Bitwig.questionaire wrote: Mon Jul 12, 2021 3:34 pmPlease Juergen can you have an look onto this the functionality is really missingquestionaire wrote: Thu Jul 08, 2021 7:38 pmThat is the thing it does not work at my system. Let me try again: the Launchpad has different modes. The normal mode has the hardware sequencer and custom layouts. This mode does not fulfill my needs therefore I use the programming mode.sj1 wrote: Mon Jul 12, 2021 3:42 pm Let me see if I interpret this correctly. Are you saying that:
a) it would be technically possible to retain custom modes from Novation Components and access them via the Custom button, but at the cost of losing the current User mode (8-sliders) implementation
b) or conceivably the user could have a choice between a) or the current User mode, but it would be a non-live choice that would have to be made in the Settings and require an extension restart. This is what you mean by a "workflow show-stopper"?
Yes and no. Generic Flexi is also part of DBM so you still use DBMsj1 wrote: Mon Jul 12, 2021 3:42 pm The suggestion"use the Generic Flexi with the Launchpads' hardware modes" means not running DBM at all, losing all it's other functionality, right?
