Im running Waveform in a MacBook Pro 16", with i9 proccessor and 16GB RAM.
I guess it's a decent machine but every time I save an edit it takes about 30 seconds to save it.
Is this good?

It depends what's in the edit. Is it mostly (large) audio files, and multiple takes? How many tracks ?

No, its even with few tracks

It's most likely the size of the automatic backups getting larger. Once it gets to a couple of gigabytes saving the project takes forever. You can manually delete some backups.
