T2's gonna be so big it won't fit through a dialup any more, you'll need something with fat wires like a cable modem! It's gonna be so huge it won't come on a CD, it'll be on a DVD, and not only that it won't ship in a box, it'll be in a big freaking crate! :o

It's going to look more like a watermelon than a sequencer, I tell you! Just HUGE! :-o

  :help:

No groundhogs were involved in the making of this post, although aliens from Area 51 were.

I got a cable modem, but I think I better get a T1 line just to be safe.

seriously how considerable must the changes be? It must be huge

seriously, come on what are your speculations, fellow 'hoggers?

I speculate new instruments, new effects, new piano roll, customizable skin, user option for all in one interface or not. Better Midi.

Optional sound sample library, custom format, a form of collaboration add on.

Also T2 standard and a T2 Pro option and the Pro option will be the Huge and Expensive thing

Ooops! almost forgot, lots of bug fixes

Looking at the current marketing model in use atm – I further speculate that existing T1 users will get the upgrade to T2 standard free (bug fixes) and a discount to the Huge and Expensive T2 Pro :D

This is my current speculation.

Or it may just be a passive update to stabalise the current set of features - bring new users up to the same level (T1/T1nfr to T2) then introduce T2.5 this could then be the bigger better T - lots of options I guess.

I've been told that the other Acuma plugs will be present and accounted for, and I have been told that the FinalMix preset management buggle is being looked at. Of course, I don't want that to be taken as written in stone or anything, but it seemed a fairly confident statement.

To be blunt, I could give a f**k about plug-ins bundled with T. I have all the plugs I need. But I'm glad atleast that Jules isnt the one spending time coding plugs for T. The Acuma plugs are already coded . Good stuff.

I agree about plugs – I got the ones I need, but new users to the market may benefit from bundled plug-ins. in fact they already are with the T1   you got to have more in T2 :D

I think T2 will have the following new features:

1. You will finally be able to use all 16 MIDI channels in the same project, instead of choosing just two.

2. Rack Filters- Tracktion's answer to the multiple in/out vst's, and a way to do sends and stuff. Trust me, this will be worth it!

3. A master volume slider. Now you will be able to go back and lower the ENTIRE mix AT THE SAME TIME! No, really!

4. Tracktion will drop support of DX plug-ins. They just were too faulty in version 1.

4. No more hardware interface- are you tired of looking at shining screws and "realistic" looking sliders? No more, my friend.

5. Audio file preview- you can now preview an audio file from a track without opening the track. Cool!

6. Free nose plug-(in)- Just in case your music stinks

7. Automation Write button- Ever wonder what the automation read button was for? Now you can make your own automation and have it read by Tracktion instead of paying $50 for a bundle of pre-built automation envelopes.

Other than that, I don't think anything is needed. I'm happy with what is there already.

I need option 6, that is the most needed option
  In fact that could be a good vsti to have in any host imo. :D
