Is there an option in Waveform to tap tempo with midi controller?

Maybe these steps will do the job

• Create a midi clip by recording a sequence of taps/notes.

• Disable snapping, enable the browser and bring the action panel to the front

• Mark a suitable region containing four beats. Make sure the selection ends at the beginning of the following beat (see screen shot).

• Select Set Edit Tempo|Set ... marked region and you will get the related bpm value.
