MSuperLooper sometimes loses sync on transport jump

When doing smooth seek in REAPER and skipping bars, MSuperLooper lands on a 1st beat but sometimes actually starts playing from second beat. This is not an easily reproduced bug, but i can trigger it by continuously switching loops before jumping regions.
Here's a video of reproduction steps:

I just use individual tracks myself.
You aren't limited to the 4 it starts with.
Those 4 seems like sub tracks per actual track perhaps?
I don't use those at all, again someone else might have that knowledge.
Good luck,
Dirk

well, i'd have to do 12 tracks then
it's not very convenient, but i guess this could be a good workaround.

Hmmm hard to say, the whole MSuperLooper became a crazy mess with all the options, I suppose somehow it thinks it's a different bar. Note that it doesn't sync to a bar number, only position within a bar.

i'm hoping that's a confirmation that this bug will get fixed eventually?MeldaProduction wrote: Sun Jan 03, 2021 5:03 pm Hmmm hard to say, the whole MSuperLooper became a crazy mess with all the options, I suppose somehow it thinks it's a different bar. Not really, I'm actually not really sure what is the problem exactly. Could you send me some project that does that? With instructions how to trigger the problem?

Aaaha, sorry, missed that. Now I'm not exactly sure what happened there, but for some reason it looks like in your DAW the locator jumped 1 bar ahead, or doesn't it??

Yes, that's smooth seek in REAPER (jumping to a different region when reaching end of current region). I use this extensively for live playing.MeldaProduction wrote: Tue Jul 13, 2021 9:27 pm Aaaha, sorry, missed that. Well, that may be the problem. I'll check. Could you send me a project to info@meldaproduction.com? I don't really know how to set this thing up.
