GUI fonts look pretty crappy on macOS 10.15 Catalina, as if not anti-aliased. Can you please consider shifting to a font that is easier and faster to read? Thanks!

You are displaying it on a nonHDPI display while having retina as well, right? Well, I'm afraid no solution for that yet, that's extremely difficult considering the stylable system, but hopefully one day...

You need to put it on the highest DPI screen, the main screen. How can you turn off retina?

FYI I have experienced this. I have an MBP and a Cinema Display, and it looks bad when they're both on. If I shut the MBP lid so I'm only going through the external display, it looks fine.

I have the same problem. My main screen is 27" non-hdpi while the secondary is from 15" MBP retina.MeldaProduction wrote: Sat Jan 16, 2021 4:36 pm You are displaying it on a nonHDPI display while having retina as well, right? Reaper seems somehow able to solve this for its own fonts by detecting the screen on which a window is shown and displaying the fonts accordingly. But I am sure if that was possible for Melda plugins you would have already thought of it.

The next version will implement a full multimonitor multiDPI support. A public beta should be out perhaps in a few days.

A beta should be release any day now. It will be very preliminary, but mainly because there's a big "time hog" when it comes to graphics for various devices in the new version, oh well...

Hi.
I'm using version 14.16 and am running into this issue in a big way in multiple DAWs on Mac OS X 10.15.7.
With retina support on, the fonts look great on my retina screen and crappy on the others. With retina support off, the fonts look ok on the retina screen and even worse on my other screens. I have the scale set to 100%.
I tried disabling "allow style changes if the editor is too big" in settings, but all that happens is that the big gui plugins won't show an interface at all (in Studio One). I have to open a "small" plugin like MUtility to turn the option back on to get the big plugins to show their interface.
Is there a trick I am missing? Due to my set up, it would be much better to use the plugins on my non-retina display.
Thank you.
EDIT: I think I've got it.
I disabled GPU acceleration. My graphics card is a Radeon Pro Vega 56 8gb (I have an iMacPro), but the graphics acceleration doesn't agree with it apparently.
Retina support is enabled and the fonts look fine on all screens.

The best way would be to get the new beta and enable GPU acceleration, should work fine now.
