Mdrummer Drum empire pack

Hi, Vojtech (i know very long time)
So i updated Mdrummer for to hear the new drum empire pack.
I suspect something is wrong with the upload of the sample.
Nobody complain about it and there's not so much demo to hear.
But i have listened all the raw kit without effect and BD and snare (specially snare who is the most characteristic sound) sounds pretty much the same if not the same on all drumkits.
If i disable room mics so only closed one it's like a tiny snare not sounding good and it's all the same sound.
I think there's a mistake in the upload of the sound (specially the closed mic of the snare).

Listened with my studio monitor...

Other than that hi-hats are absolutely beautifulls!

Haven’t checked MDrummer Empire, but coincidentally just a few days ago commented about Vojtech choice of snares for a personal project of his:
viewtopic.php?f=138&t=567370

Barring an upload miss of the snare (closed mic), what you point out might the be the result of his timbral taste…
On a second derivative, it might remain as such, because this specific request hasn’t come to his attention yet. If this is the case, add mine to votes asking for snare diversity.

I hear lots of diversity in the snare samples (i.e the "recording" part of it) when auditioning all of the different snares. (Mute overheads and rooms button activated and Global FX enable deactivated)

For example, the 10x5 Pearl Firecracker sounds very different than the 14x6.5 Ludwig Black Beauty 1978. And the others sound plenty different to my ears, too.

No doubt. And there are some toms with long noisey tails.

Actually the recordings are pretty marvelous. It's just that close mikes on snares do sound like that and these only have some basic processing. You need to use some finished drumkits. Though that's what will the new expansion be about - the modern metal ultraprocessing makes these snares particularly huge and that's what I'm after now. Became a bit of a metal head these days

Also note that big part of the drums is about the room, and all of these have been recorded in the same room. So if you drown it in the rooms, then it will indeed probably be quite similar.

True that, micing a drum kit includes the room and all the noise should be the same for realistic feel.

Well if you record a piano and a snare in the same room it sound different it's the same with different snare manufacturer.
But it's not a problem thank you for the answer, so there's no mistake in the upload

Hehe yeah. It will actually use the same sample content (Drum Empire), but will be remixed for modern metal, since I kinda became a partial metalhead

Woohoo! Will it also have new midi loops and styles etc for the Rhythm Generator? The Generator is the best but about MDrummer!

Actually now I think about it there is no best bit about MDrummer! It's all AWESOME! But the Generator is one of those things that sets it apart from all other inferior drum VSTs
