BR 11.05.18 Midi editor: notes not autoselected after duplicating, lag when drag selecting notes

WIn the newest Version notes are duplicated notes are not selected so i cant press the button moltiple times to fill bigger area.
I've noticed a lag when i drag the selection box around notes.

Yeah the lag when dragging to select notes has been around for a while would so greatly love to see that one fixed!

Seems to happen in timeline view and in the piano roll.
