I could, ofcourse, buy something like Sound Forge, but it would be just ridiculous, since I wouldn't use ANY of the advanced features. Only cut and paste...
(and record, ofcourse)
So, is there any for free, or do I have to code one myself?

Been recording tracks of slightly over one hour, no problem.
