Freaking Turbo Play was the first modular DAW I ever used and it blew my mind how easy it was to set up sidechaining. It supports like... video editing and all sorts of things.

if Sampler + step sequencer = "DAW"
then:
then:
That, plus all the improved themes & layouts he made for them.gentleclockdivider wrote: ↑Thu Aug 05, 2021 1:17 am Are you gonna post every screenshot of every program in existence ?
We are the KVR collective. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.

The thread title & first post (an EXPLORATION!) was really intruiging, little did I know it'd turn out to be just a random collection of screenshots of obscure sequencers with zero information or links about what actually makes them "strange", special, or otherwise interesting. I guess it could be a good starting point for an extensive reverse image search session.

Both correct!
Jeskola Buzz is like a tracker with free routable signal flow, using 3rd party plugins. There might even be a VST2 wrapper for Jeskola Buzz. Its claim to fame is the developer supposedly lost all source code ca 2003 or so, which stopped all further development. It later surfaced though
At the bottom is Caustic3: https://singlecellsoftware.com/caustic
That runs on Windows PC, MacOS, Apple & Android smartphones (yay !!!)
Inspired on Reason, you get just the modules supplied with it (which is enough for making music on your phone while bored on a plane)
