Hi everyone,
after we encountered some more bumps and potholes in the road, and had to fix a few burst tires along the way, we are finally approaching the finish line.
As always, we are posting the final (fingers crossed) RC versions (revision 12092) here a few days prior to release. Ideally, these will become the official release versions next week.
It should be smooth sailing from here, but if you encounter any water leaks or woodworms, please let us know immediately, so we can plug the holes before accidentally converting the ship into a submarine.
A quick overview of some of the issues tackled since the RC1 version, rev. 12001:
* Linux: The install.sh script shebang now uses bin/bash
* Windows: the VST3 versions now all show up and pass the plugin scanning process
* Logic: Fixed sound distortion issue when loading projects repeatedly
* Colour Copy: Fixed short volume spike on start of playback or render in some hosts
* Hive: Fixed filter graph animation randomly stopping (Windows only)
* Hive: Fixed shape sequencer steps sometimes falsely staying visible after preset switch
* Hive: Fixed issue in comb filters in connection with filter input parameter
* Hive: Izmo Inter font updated
* Some more preset polishing for multiple plugins
Downloads for RC2, revision 12092:
[MOD EDIT: Final downloads are available from u-he.com shortly]
[MOD Note: BazilleCM will be available soon via Computer Music magazine]
[MOD Note: BeatZille will be available soon via Beat magazine]
[MOD Note: ZebraCM will be available soon via Computer Music magazine]
Enjoy the ride,
Tas

I didn't install that last round of RCs but I just installed these and everything seems to run great. I'm not sure what was going on the last time I ran the first batch of ARM updates on Bitwig 4 beta, but things are finally performing as they should. No more crazy CPU spikes with Diva, even though CPU intensive patches can still give even the M1 a little workout.

On my Windows 10 machine when installing Hive 2 I get this mashed up install screen with the last few installs.tasmaniandevil wrote: Thu Aug 05, 2021 1:33 pm

The installer is not built by us, it's from another company, and it has issues with high resolution screens. Depending on your screen resolution, it might look like that.RobertH2 wrote: Fri Aug 06, 2021 4:37 am On my Windows 10 machine when installing Hive 2 I get this mashed up install screen with the last few installs.
We will look into upgrading the installer software for a future update, but it wasn't possible to do it for this update round.

I have, just to see if the new builds break it.electro wrote: Fri Aug 06, 2021 1:13 am Anyone testing that Volta GUI with the DIVA betas?

So far I cannot find anything broken.
Preset browser works just fine, Diva Volta looks and behaves just as before.
As far as I can tell from brief tests, that is. I haven't been spending hours. It just seems ok.

I thought Volta was defunct - bought it ages ago. How do you get the updated version?krans wrote: Fri Aug 06, 2021 7:58 amI have, just to see if the new builds break it.electro wrote: Fri Aug 06, 2021 1:13 am Anyone testing that Volta GUI with the DIVA betas?

We'll take good care of it once we can host it ourselves. We have however agreed with Amazona that they retain exclusivity until the end of this year. Which hopefully gives us enough time to refurbish the factory library in similar ways as we did with Zebralette and Triple Cheese.Echoes in the Attic wrote: Fri Aug 06, 2021 1:35 am I can't tell you how bummed I am that Tyrell is not on this list!![]()

However, the superfriendly plugmon has it covered for us!
There's a recipe right here: https://plugmon.jp/2018/11/volta-for-di ... patchwork/
Some people (including myself) mess it up a bit at first, but that happens if you go beyond point number 2. The rest are variations, don't mix them with number 2.
Stop when you come to "Variations", and check how it works.
So do number 1, do number 2, and you should have a working Volta GUI.

It fixes the Diva arpeggiator stuck notes issue.
The most common source for stuck notes in Reaper was a problem of the host, and has been fixed in one of the last Reaper versions.
If you are still getting stuck notes with the current Reaper version, we'd need more details. In this case please contact our support.
